NO SHINING KNIGHT IS COMING TO SAVE YOU
Listen in and discover how Shiri is integrating Positive Psychology and sharing skills with teenagers and parents. She talks about the idea that you have the strength and you know what you need to do. There is no one coming to save you. In this episode they talk about Purna, a Sanskrit word which means Wholeness, Complete, Full, Perfect. Fulfilled, Satisfied. Listen in how Shiri integrates the mindset that we are complete and whole. She teaches her clients that they have everything they need they have and every thing they have they need.
She teaches and shares with the world the Loving-kindness meditation (sometimes called “metta” meditation) and how it is a great way to cultivate our propensity for kindness. It involves mentally sending goodwill, kindness, and warmth towards others by silently repeating a series of mantras. She is passionate about providing safe and supportive containers for teens to learn and grow.
Shiri discovered that you can face challenge with grace. Empathy and self-compassion have been very powerful in Shiri’s life. Listen how she brings in all emotions and embraces the healing process.
